by the Elliott family for more than 30 years, The Crown Hotel is the perfect family-friendly venue for meals and accommodation
which is based in an annexe to the hotel, facing a large garden and views over Kirk Loch.
The bar/lounge is full of atmosphere and friendly faces
ready to welcome you. There is a pool table and darts board and an extensive fully-enclosed beer garden overlooking Kirk Loch
which has a children's play area.
There is a small dining room and customers are most impressed
with the tasty meals served there, especially the roast beef that melts in your mouth.
Meals are also served in
the garden and the barbecue is brought out (weather permitting, of course).
There is plenty to do and see in and around Lochmaben
(click this link for details) and the hotel is just 4 miles from the M74 and 8 miles from Dumfries.
